Location for the football ground and fast food places to eat was perfect however in the room itself there was a load of black hair in the bathroom/shower that said it hadn't been cleaned throughly as it was a pure white bathroom so pretty obvious, the bed had white marks on the side and the WiFi you had to pay for otherwise the staff were frindly at reception and the rest of the place seemed clean and tidy
The hotel doesn't seem to be a new style travelodge but is extremely well maintained. The staff were great, especially Poppy on the front desk. She had a great smile and I felt welcomed. The room was immaculately clean and very low noise with the window open.
Air conditioning was a godsend given the current temperatures! Room was not roomy, rather being functional, but then you don't live there! Bed was comfortable! TV good. Shower room good but needed to put down a towel on the floor for safety when stepping out of the bath! Staff excellent and helpful. Breakfast not worth it unless you are in a hurry!

Scott, on reception, is a real asset to this travel lodge and was welcoming and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. A quiet location and the new part (which was where our room was located) to a good standard. We can recommend The Pin Cushion pub for an evening meal, just a 3 minute drive away. We only spent a night here but would definitely return if we need to stay in this area again.
The staff were very pleasant, and the rooms were modern, comfortable, and well-presented. Overall, the accommodation provided a positive and enjoyable experience.
Little bit cold in a room / bathroom. A/C has limited options and savings energy pre-set program makes it harder to operate therefore room and bathroom are little bit cold.
We had a personal emergency situation and were able to get a good value room at 10:30pm including with our dog (who was £20 extra). The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and quiet. We slept all the way until 10:30am as the black out curtains were so good. Check out at 12 is nice as we didn't feel rushed.
